Fund Raising

Opportunity Inc. is a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) organization. Therefore, all donations are tax deductible (to the extent they exceed any value received).

Current and upcoming fund development activities include:

The Festival of Trees is a “New Holiday Experience” for the Wisconsin Rapids Area sponsored by Opportunity Inc.

Starting at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 25, you can get out of the cold and walk through our Enchanted Forest of theme-decorated Christmas Trees and bid on any of the trees through a silent auction. For just $2.00, you can get into the Christmas Spirit and enjoy a cookie and a beverage.

Come back on Saturday morning, November 26, from 9:00- 11:00 and have “Breakfast with Santa”. The whole family is invited! Tickets for the breakfast and entry into the Enchanted Forest are $5.00 per person.

A Gala Reception, beginning at 6:00 o’clock Saturday night, will cap off the Festival of Trees event with the silent auction closing at 9:00 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for “Best Decorations”, “Spirit of Community” and more! Tickets for this event are $10.00 each.

Our Connections Program in Marathon County is offering greeting cards. The images on these cards are reproductions of original artwork of our program participants – AND ARE THEY BEAUTIFUL! These cards are great for giving AND getting!

Table Top Festival
Opportunity Inc.’s Table Top Festival is one of the most unique events in Central Wisconsin. Organizations enter a table-top display, the public views them and ultimately purchases them – it’s as easy as that! But what sounds easy is not quite so – these tabletops are AMAZING! This is a not-to-be-missed event in the Spring 2006!
